  Brotherhood is a relationship that is felt by the members of the house. It is difficult to ascertain by observation or description. However, this feeling of brotherhood can be extracted from a variety of everyday living situations which require help, understanding, support, advice or merely close friendship.

  Philanthropy is an opportunity for us to give back to the community. We at Phi Gamma Delta believe that since we have the ability and opportunity to serve, it becomes our duty to better the community.
  
  
  

• History

  On a cool spring night in 1848, six men came together at the Jefferson College in Canonsburg, PA to form the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta. These six men long enjoyed a friendship that would eventually lead to a Brotherhood. The year of 1848, thus began the great tradition and the form of excellence that Phi Gamma Delta pursues. This tradition and excellence is also bestowed upon its members.
